It's moving!

October has been a busy month for Estrella Lab.

Pitch in Paris, collaboration with Excelia, an event at Cabanes Urbaines, the launch of the boat and a new call for projects...

A quick recap of the highlights of the last few weeks

HANDITECH TROPHY :

Organised by JobinLive and Bpifrance, this is the first national competition to reward start-ups, students, research laboratories or associations that develop innovative solutions for people with disabilities.

After two selection phases, we are finalists of this sixth edition of the Handitech Trophy!

On October 3rd, Olivia, founder of Estrella Lab, went to Paris to pitch the project at the Bpi.

It was not an easy exercise as the finalists had 1m30 to defend their project.

You can watch the live stream below. Olivia opened the ball, to be watched from the ninth minute:

The award ceremony will take place on 14 November in Paris! It will be possible to follow it live here : https://bit.ly/live_Ceremonie

Until then, we count on you to vote for Estrella Lab!

EXCELIA :

Convinced that we have everything to gain by involving young people, on 8 October we went to the La Rochelle Excelia business school. Objective: to meet French and foreign students, within the framework of the Humacité and Climacité forum, to talk about the project and to recruit dynamic forces!

Great exchange, especially with Marjorie and Nicholas, from the Philippines and Indonesia, who will join the team!

It was also an opportunity to discover other great associations in La Rochelle...

FROM DREAM TO ODYSSEY AT LES CABANES URBAINES

On October 18th, it was with pleasure and a touch of emotion that we returned to the Cabanes Urbaines - Cité Collaborative, a place we are particularly fond of.

Last year we had screened the Boat-trip of all possibilities, the project that gave us the desire to set up Estrella Lab. We had just come out of a year of building the boat...

Last Tuesday, with a video and photo montage (thanks Valou!), we took the opportunity to look back at this difficult construction site, to tell the story of our first Atlantic Tour and to talk about future projects... From dream to Odyssey!

ESTRELLA LAB BACK ON THE TECHNICAL FLOOR !

And yes, it is time for Estrella to get a makeover before setting off again for the Canaries at the beginning of December...

On the programme: careening and various works. But we assure you, last year it was seven months spent in the dry, this year... 7 days! Better, isn't it?

Once again, Estrella is being pampered by a top-notch volunteer team, and new recruits!

We must thank Hubert, Christophe, Richard, Franck and Hacër, Cathy, Kévin and his karsher team, Benoît, Valou, Pierre, Anne, Martine and Thibault ! Our Star is very lucky !

We're going to need you!

We are eligible for the Challenge Inclusion call for projects, sponsored by the Apicil Group. The aim of this challenge is to highlight and reward citizen initiatives which, on their own scale, contribute to making society more inclusive.

That's a bit like us, isn't it?

For the occasion, we have made a new video presenting Estrella Lab, which will be revealed soon on the networks :-)

The first stage of selection is made by the vote of Internet users... Do you see where we're going with this?

The votes are open to everyone, everywhere in the world. So we've translated the video into French, English, German, Spanish, Turkish and Indonesian (the team is becoming more international!)... to sprinkle the globe with Estrella Lab and try to win this first stage!

So we're counting on you as an Estrella Lab ambassador from 24 October to 6 November to get your friends, colleagues, family and baker to vote and to share as much as possible around you!

As Mélanie would say, to the infinite and beyond!

Voting will take place on the platform: www.challenge-inclusion.fr

You're in ??

More on this in the next episode...
